Colorado’s Comprehensive Health Education Standards
What do I do with them now?

For the first time ever, Colorado has health education standards! These new standards will prepare students to develop personal responsibility for their health and fitness and have a lifelong commitment to wellness. We are very excited to be able to provide training opportunities to support the new Comprehensive Health Education Standards. The training will give participants an understanding of the new Comprehensive Health Education Standards and identify ways to implement them in their school or classrooms. An overview of the standards and their unique format will be explored through small group discussions. Tools for redesign of health curricula will be shared as well as strategies for integrating the standards into existing lessons. RMC Health and the Colorado Department of Education have partnered to develop these exciting new trainings.
