The Colorado Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (COAHPERD) is a non-profit organization composed of between 400-600 educators and college students majoring in one of the above areas. COAHPERD provides an annual convention in October, preconvention and outreach workshops, publications designed to inform and enhance the work of members, and a lobbyist at the state legislature.
