Colorado COAHPERD is honored to host the 9 state, Central District Association AAHPERD convention in Colorado Springs, At the Crowne Plaza Hotel, February 2-4, 2012. Join us for Thursday pre convention sessions, then continue your experience on Friday and Saturday as you learn from over 60 amazing speakers, comprised of national presenters and teachers of the year! Dr. Paul Roetert, AAHPERD’s Chief Executive Officer, will be the featured speaker for the general session. Paul has a great sense of humor and will certainly entertain you as well as share information related to the reorganization of AAHPERD.
To secure the early bird registration price, you must register by December 1, 2011. The registration process goes through AAHPERD, so it is a little different from our COAHPERD registration format. Please check out the registration information here.
If you are a Professional COAHPERD and AAHPERD member, you are eligible for a special discount, but only until Dec. 1st. You must fax or mail in your registration to AAHPERD to receive this special price. Also, your membership must be current in both associations as of 12/31/2011. CDA_Reg_Form_12.pdf
If your COAHPERD membership is not current, please go here to secure your membership, at the coahperd.org web site. Your membership is good for one calendar year, from the date you signed up.
The next “Advanced” convention registration deadline is 1/24/12.
Onsite registration is accepted, but meals are not guaranteed.
Crowne Plaza Hotel registration deadline to receive the AAHPERD discount is 1/12/12.
