Professional Research Assistant / PE Site Coordinator

The Alamosa, CO office of the Rocky Mountain Prevention Research Center has a 3-year 83% full-time equivalent opening for a Professional Research Assistant. Primary responsibility will involve serving as Site Coordinator of the San Luis Valley Physical Education Academy, a professional development initiative involving K-12 PE teachers. The Site Coordinator will oversee all Academy events in the San Luis Valley, including orientations, meetings, workshops, summer institutes, and communities of practice, and assist Denver-based principal investigators and program coordinator with research activities and reporting requirements.

The position requires a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education/Kinesiology and a Colorado State Teaching Certificate in Physical Education. A Masters Degree in Physical Education (and/or Curriculum and Instruction, Education, Supervision) is strongly preferred. The position requires use of personal vehicle for travel within the SLV. (Mileage reimbursement will be provided.)
