COAHPERD position statements

 

Financing of Public Education

The Colorado Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance recommends that the Colorado legislature gives public education the highest priority when determining the state budget; furthermore that the Colorado legislature finance state educational programs in Early Childhood, K-12 and higher education to the levels necessary to ensure that every learner receive the highest quality education possible.

Wellness and Healthy Lifestyles

The Colorado Assocaition for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance strongly supports programs and/or legislation that encourage and promote individual and community wellness and healthy lifestyles.
